29th August 2002
Aslib Biosciences Group are pleased to announce a visit to view the
information and IT developments at the King's College Guy's Campus site.
You are invited to enjoy an afternoon touring the grounds of the Guy's
Campus of King's College London experiencing both the history, architecture
and the innovative IT developments that make the site an impressive
collaboration of old and new - all for £10 (members) or £15 (non members).
The visit will include a series of short presentations on:
* Biomedical Sciences resources at King's, including a look at the
networked student environment.
* The Virtual Campus - innovations in curricular support and delivery in
medicine.
* Innovations in multimedia and interactive learning in dentistry
Following the meeting there will be a cheese and wine reception in the
Gordon Museum with its large and growing teaching collection of
approximately 8,000 pathological specimens supported by a variety of IT

museum history and current activities and you will have plenty of
opportunity explore this anatomical and pathological treasure trove.
