Hi Stefan,
The Registry (http://wip.dublincore.org:8080/dcregistry/index.html) is on
schedule and phase 1 will become production early next month. There is one
outstanding problem - the issue of the RDF schemas used for the registry
data. A solution is in the works for this issue (announcement is
forthcoming). Work that still needs completed:
- cleanup the help screen.
- translate the help screen into the supported UI languages. We may elect
to delay this translation until more feedback has been received.
- review and revise (as needed) provenance data for the translations.
An agenda for the Working group workshop at the upcoming DC 2002 conference
should be published in the next few weeks. One topic that will certainly be
on the agenda is the gathering of functional requirements for phase 2.
Please let me know if you have any questions, and thanks for your interest
in the Registry.
Best Regards,
Harry
