CALL FOR POSTERS
================
This year we have decided to include the opportunity for researchers and
students attending the conference to present posters describing their
work,
and allow time in the conference programme for discussing their work
with
delegates. It is hoped that this will be a useful opportunity for poster
presenters to discuss their evolving projects with others in the field,
gaining feedback and expanding publicity for their work.
Those presenting posters will be provided with a space (2*2m) for their
poster
in the main area used for refreshments. There may be a limited
opportunity to
provide additional desktop space for laptops or additional
documentation,
to allow presenters to expand their message. In addition to the tea and
coffee breaks, there will be two 45 minute sessions designated as
"Poster
Sessions", when delegates will be encouraged to discuss the poster
projects
with presenters.
Poster presenters will also be invited to contribute an article to
Expert Update
(http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~frans/expertUpdate.html) the BCS-SGAI
magazine.
If you wish to present a poster at ES2002, then please provide the
ES2002
Poster Session Organiser (contact address below) with an A4 sheet
describing
your work. This will then be be included in the "registration pack".
Further details regarding the conference, registration, hotels etc. can
be
found on the conference WWW page at
