Ain't no such animal as an RTA. I appreciate the components aren't
particularly progressive, but neither is a Coma Scale unless you know
some fairly advanced neurology. I have had one helpful comment from a
nurse; he points out that the scale is upside down when compared to a
Trauma or Coma score where big numbers = better. Oh, and sorry for the
typo - I did of course mean entanglement.

Yes, I like the first component, it's simple and progressive, therefore
memorable, unlike the second component which isn't necessarily related
to entrapment at all and is impossible to remember. The third component
is better but again is not particularly progressive, and could more
simply be described rather than graded! But what I'm really concerned
about Rowley, would the SES scale apply only to RTCs, or would it also
apply to RTAs?!
