Hi All
I am re-posting this opportunity because there have been a number of
conferences recently when list members may not have picked up their e
mail and hence missed the opportunities.
We are a small recruitment company specialising in healthcare. The
following two vacancies will be of interest Health Economists. Please
respond to me not to the list.

Robust Data + Convincing Arguments = Business Success
Health Outcomes Manager & Adviser
Circa £64,000 & £47,000 + superb packages
West of London
Our client is the UK affiliate of a global pharmaceutical company with a
broad range of products and a very rich pipeline. An extensive
programme of NICE submissions and recognition of the changes happening
in the market place bring about the need to extend their Health Outcomes
team.
As the UK Health Outcomes Manager, you will take full management
responsibility for the small professional team and for some products.
Reporting to the UK Director of Corporate Affairs you will liaise with a
wide range of staff and customers to support the UK portfolio. You will
use your extensive Health Outcomes experience to ensure robust data and
convincing arguments are generated and effectively used.
As UK Health Outcomes Adviser you will work with both in market and
pipeline products to build the arguments that substantiate value and
persuade the purse holders to provide funds. Working on the Product
Teams, you will influence the development of new products from late
phase II onwards and will give the sales and marketing teams the data to
enable market access. You will also work on studies, which will support
your products.
For both roles you will have to be a well-qualified Health Outcomes
professional with three or four years experience in a pharmaceutical
company or consultancy. You will have a good understanding of the
structures within the NHS and will be a powerful influencer, with
impressive communication and presentation skills. Naturally you will
have a life sciences background and a higher degree in Economics, Health
Economics or similar subject and will have the skills to operate in a
high profile professional team.
These are golden opportunities to manage prestige commercial programmes
for one of the world's greatest pharmaceutical companies. Please send
