Hi All
I think the Pope would be quite happy with oppressive language to describe
anyone's impairment including his own - suffering is the way to sainthood
you know? Anyone see "Miracle at Lourdes"? His impairment is not so much his
physical limitations but the limitations bought about by being a hateful,
narrow-minded, bigoted despot. He spreads hate toward people who are other
than heterosexual breeders so what makes anyone think his archaic oppressive
attitudes are peculiar to poofs and lezzos? (coz Jim doesn't like "queer" :)
Best regards

| And it isn't just the media on this one; look at how his family
categorized
| his disability. Though it is entirely possible I suppose that the media
| quoted what they wanted to quote for the slant they wanted and that the
| family quotes were out of context. Given how the
| burden/inspiration/tough-as-nails grit thing was brought up by different
| family members, though I do wonder how the guy thought of himself.
