This full-time post is based in the Access Unit - Short Courses &
Outreach, and is funded by the BT Lifelong Learning Fund, providing a
unique opportunity to develop a CD-ROM based interactive training
package on Disability Equality for public library staff. The post will
involve designing, editing, producing, piloting and marketing the
training package and commissioning authors to write material. Support
will be provided by the Access Unit and a Project Steering Group. You
should have an understanding of disability issues, excellent
communication and networking skills, experience of adult education and
disability equality training and be able to make use of IT in your
work. The post, which is open to job-share, is available from mid July
