Dear WG Members,
Please pardon the cross-post. I've heard from a couple of people that have
had problems using the language translations. The solution to this problem
is very simple, and the help screens will be updated to reflect this. In
the interim these two mailing lists seem like the best place to post this
information.
The information regarding which language was selected on the preferences
screen is stored as a 'cookie' on the client session. This requires that
cookies be enabled on your browser. This is the default setting for both IE
and Netscape, and I believe most other browsers. You do not have to accept
cookies to use the Registry, but you do to view the language translations.
