MORE INFORMATION ABOUT IHC 2002
=========================================
IHC 2002 will cover all main areas of HCI research and practice, but will
focus on the conference theme of "Usability, a right". The idea is to
foreground the importance of usability in computing systems as a right for
every citizen in a society. Since people are obliged to interact with
systems for paying taxes, for voting, for banking, and so on, usability
should not be driven only by market forces. The conference aims to look at
the questions of consumer rights and the policies of government agencies and
computing societies to assure usability rights. The technical program
consists of invited talks, tutorials, panels and technical paper sessions
with topics of general interest.
