Well, there might not be plans to pull the plug on OOH, because it is all going.
I have been reading the reforming care stuff quite carefully, and the streaming document makes it quite clear that patients
are to be advised at their assessment in Emergency Units that should they have enquiries in future they are to contact
NHS Direct, unless their problem is an emergency, in which case they are to dial 999. NO mention of primary care
providers anywhere.
