I was out yesterday for my early morning run and read the article on the front
page of the mail at 8.00am and I actually e-mailed the author of the article
explaining that as all journalists, they did not know the difference between a
heart attack and a cardiac arrest. I used all the points that have come up on
the list. They haven't come back to me and as I was once told today's
newspapers are tomorrows fish and chip covers it doesn't suprise me.
When I have my VF cardiac arrest I don't care who defibrillates me. I like
Mike have moved on and I agree we have to share and undergo common training
with all our colleagues in the emergency services. The ambulance control
officer should be praised and not denigrated for using initiative.
