The GPs have voted yes to the GP contract which gives them (in theory)
the option of handing 24 hour responsibility back to the PCT (i.e normal
working hours finish at 6pm, Mon-Fri).
Consultants will soon vote on their contract to extend their "normal"
working hours to 10pm and weekend mornings.
Anyone with a calculator handy may wish to check what the result of
adding 2+2 is.
