Hello
the following summary may be of help in deciding what to use - RM is deemed
to be less sensitive and lacks sufficient reliabiltiy and scale width for
clinical application.
A Comparison of Five Low Back Disability Questionnaires: Reliability and
Responsiveness.
Davidson M, Keating J. Physical Therapy. Vol. 82, No 1, January 2002.
Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine five commonly used
questionnaires for assessing disability in people with low back pain (LBP).
The modified Oswestry Disability Questionnaire, the Quebec Back Pain
Disability Scale, the Roland Morris Disability Questionnaire, the Waddell
Disability Index, and the physical health scales of the Medical Outcomes
Study 36-item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36) were compared in patients
undergoing physical therapy for low back pain.
Subjects: Patients with LBP completed the questionnaires at the initial
consultation with a physical therapist and again 6 weeks later (n=106).
Conclusion: Measurements obtained with the Oswestry Disability
Questionnaire, the SF-36 physical functioning scales and the Quebec Back
Pain Disability Scale were the most reliable and had sufficient width scale
to reliably detect improvement and worsening in most subjects. The Waddell
Disability Index was moderate, but the scale appeared insufficient to
recommend it for clinical application. The Roland Morris Disability
Questionnaire, and the Role limitations - Physical and Bodily Pain Scales of
the SF36 appeared to lack sufficient reliability and scale width for
clinical application.

The following Glomsrod study shows back school beneficial for secondary
prevention int he following study - with 3 year follow up so that's not bad!

The Roland and Morris questionnaire and Oswestry LBP questionnaire both are
reliable self-report tools.
But, I think back schools have gone out of favor in general.
