medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I, perhaps naively, assumed that Poulenc's work was
based on the play/novel (I can't remember which) of
Georges Bernanos. It would be interesting to compare
the historical event with the two fictionalized
versions of same.
