As part of the Wagner Ring Festival 2002, featuring a concert performance
sung in German with English surtitles of
Richard Wagner's Ring des Nibelungen

This unique conference brings an exiting group of internationally renowned
Wagner experts together, including Nike Wagner, great granddaughter of
Richard Wagner. Other speakers are Dieter Borchmeyer, John Deathridge,
Joachim Fischer, Peter Franklin, John Kelly, David J. Levin, Barry
Millington, Wilfried van der Will, Susanne Vill, and Marc Weiner. In
addition to papers by these highly distinguished speakers, the conference
programme features a screening of Fritz Lang's historic film Die Nibelungen
(1924), a performance of Wagner's Wesendonck Lieder by Suzanne Murphy and an
exhibition of Wagner Prints by Stephan Klenner-Otto. Attendees of the
