CALL FOR PAPERS
---------------------
You are cordially invited to participate in the 8th International Conference on
Human Aspects of Advanced Manufacturing: Agility & Hybrid Automation, to be held
27-30 May 2003 in Rome, National Research Council of Italy, Institute of
Technology and Cognitive Sciences
CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES
------------------------------
The Conference will strive to promote, exchange, and disseminate up-to-date
information and research results on integration of people, organization and
technology in the quest for manufacturing agility, i.e. enhancement and
integration of human skills with hardware performance for improved market
competitiveness, management of change, product and process quality, and
human-system reliability.
In the tradition of its predecessors this Conference aims to consolidate recent
work, and to stimulate further discussion, on the state of the art in Human
Aspects of Advanced Manufacturing: Agility & Hybrid Automation and its
increasing range of applications in the emerging Information Society. One of the
basic intentions of this conference is to offer a forum for discussion and
exchange of experiences among researchers and practitioners. Therefore, besides
academics, we kindly invite all those in companies involved in the field of the
conference, to contribute by submitting papers or presenting innovative tools,
solutions or experience reports.
