SYMPOSIUM INFORMATION:
The Mobile HCI symposium series provides a forum for academics and
practitioners to discuss the challenges and potential solutions for
effective interaction with mobile systems. It is intended to cover
the design, evaluation and applications of techniques and approaches
for all mobile computing devices. The selected papers are from all over
the world. Topics of interest include but are not limited to:

INVITED SPEAKERS:
The Mobile HCI 2002 Symposium will feature two keynote speakers: Brad A.
Myers and Luca Passani.
    * Brad A. Myers (Carnegie Mellon University) will give a speech
about
"Mobile Devices for Control"
    * Luca Passani (Openwave) will give a speech about "Building Usable
Wireless Applications for Mobile Phones"
Furthermore, a representative of the European Commission will present
and
discuss their future initiatives in the area of mobile devices and
human-computer interaction.


The Symposium will be held in cooperation with ERCIM, IFIP TC13,
ACM-SIGCHI,
ACM SIGCHI-Italy and CNUCE-CNR
