by Leeds Involvement Project, in association with the Joseph Rowntree
Foundation, the Centre for Research in Primary Care, and the Centre for
Disability Studies.
DAY 1: Speak Out! - Messages from the Community
Wednesday 10 July, 9.30am - 3.30pm, Leeds Metropole Hotel
A day for black and minority ethnic disabled people, disability and
community groups including mental health service users, deaf people and
people with learning difficulties.
The day will provide practical information: learn how to help shape the
services you use, how to set up and develop groups and how to identify and
assert your needs.
DAY 2: Moving Forward - Disability, Ethnicity and Services
Thursday 11 July, 9.30am - 3.30pm, Leeds Metropole Hotel
A day for commissioners and providers of services with relevance to the
lives of disabled people across health, social services, employment,
community development, leisure, education and training.
