OVERVIEW
RESULTs is the new national web portal for learning technologists
in higher education. The “RESULTs Network” is the portal and its
wider community of users. This workshop will aim to provide
participants with an opportunity to explore and contribute to the
RESULTs Network.
RESULTs aims to be a rich and dynamic “one-stop-shop” for
learning technologists in HE, for lecturers and researchers, and for
beginners. It includes a range of online facilities to support LT
practice, share experiences and exchange and review materials.
Feedback gathered at these events will be crucial to adding
finishing touches to the design and functionality of the site.
TOPICS TO BE COVERED
Participants will explore the portal’s resources, contribute materials
and join the growing number of registered users. Hands-on
sessions will demonstrate how to contribute resources, comments
and discussions to the site.
Participants are encouraged to bring along details of resources
they hold locally that they would wish to share with fellow users of
learning technologies: case studies, technology tools, guidelines,
workshop materials, briefing papers, interactive content, practitioner
articles. Resource information you will need to provide: title of
resource, web address (URL), author(s), description, type of
resource, origin (organisation, project, programme) and copyright
requirements.

By the end of this workshop it is expected that participants will:
* be familiar with the RESULTs portal
