Evaluation of Stockwell Healthy Living Centre
#13,913 to #14,802 p.a. (fixed term - 5 years)
The Stockwell Healthy Living Centre, managed by Lambeth YMCA, will act as
a catalyst for sustainable change by facilitating community-based health
and health promotion initiatives. It will work with local people and
organisations to identify need and tackle the inequalities in health in
Stockwell. Through the joint working of statutory, voluntary and community
agencies and the development of community advocacy it will focus on the
health needs of the people of the local population. We now seek a
committed and enthusiastic individual for this exciting opportunity to
work on the evaluation of the Centre. Applicants should have a good
undergraduate or masters degree with a research component in a health
related subject or social science. The successful candidates will have the
opportunity to undertake a PhD in connection with the work. Informal
