University Lecturership in European Cinema
Applications are invited for the above post, tenable from 1st October 2002 or
as soon as possible thereafter.
University salary according to age on the scale £20,470 - £34,734 p.a. The
successful candidate may be offered a Tutorial Fellowship at Magdalen
College, in which case the combined University and College salary would be
according to age on a scale up to £41,570 p.a. and additional college
allowances would be available. Candidates should be specialists in the
cinema of any language, or languages, taught within the Faculty of Medieval
and Modern Languages in Oxford (French, German, Spanish, Italian,
Russian, Czech, Portuguese, Modern Greek). This may be taken to include
cinema of countries outside Europe which use one of these languages.
