Hello all from the EIC in Inverness!
Just to respond to Peter: most EICs provide a TED service which uses
bespoke software to deliver tailored profiled information to clients on a
daily basis (what a lot of big words!): the system is well tested, is being
continually developed, reacts quickly to changes in the TED database on the
Commission end (new fields, CPV codes etc), is fast, extremely reliable,
flexible and the information sent out tends to be of high relevance. The
additional advantage is that the system also can compile statistics for the
client (how many hits and their rating relevance etc). The package also
includes advice on Public Procurement itself: legislation, complaints, how
to sell to the public sector etc which is part of the mainstream work for
EICs. The European network contacts provide assistance on any European
dimension (help in accessing contracts abroad, partners for contracts,
information on European public purchasers and their requirements etc).
Altogether a comprehensive package.
If anyone is interested in finding out more, or would like to contact the
EIC network for a trial, please feel to e-mail me at [log in to unmask] I
can then answer any questions and put you in contact with an EIC in your
area.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Caroline Gray-Stephens
