Hello again
If simulation is deemed to be the "wrong way" what do people feel is the
"right way"?
Best regards

Subject: Simulation exercises-
| o.k. folks. since simulations seem to be another area of general interest
to
| folks on the list, I will definitely compile a bibliography on the topic
and
| send it to all and sundry. BUT be forwarned, I have found very little thus
| far. Thanks to those of you who have already sent me material. If anyone
| else has suggestions, perhaps pertaining to teaching *about* disability
more
| generally, that would be helpful as well.
|
| When I conducted searches using the key words "education and disability" I
| found lots of stuff about teaching kids (in particular) with dis/abilities
| in the classroom. When I conducted searches however using the key words
| "popular education and disability" I came out often with 0-yes that is
| correct ZERO results!!! There is one book in the library which I have not
| yet been able to locate entitled " Readings for Diversity and Social
| Justice; An Anthology on Racism, Sexism, Anti-Semitism, Heterosexism,
| Classism and Ableism." I was so amazed that dis/ability was included!Has
| anyone seen this book?
|
| given the paucity of material thus far, it may take me a bit to send out
the
| bibliography. Thanks again, Lilith
