Wanted - SVs for HCI 2002
HCI2002 is the annual conference of the British Human Computer
Interaction group. This year (2002) it is being held at South Bank
University, between the 2nd and 6th September.
The success and quality of the HCI 2002 conference is dependent upon
numerous people putting in their own time and effort, perhaps none more
so than the student volunteers who assist with the conference. The role
includes setting up and taking down the conference, staffing
registration, tutorial, plenary and technical paper sessions, and
generally running around to help where needed. Our preference is for
students with a commitment to HCI; who are hard working; sociable and
competent in English.
Student volunteers will receive many benefits, including free conference
registration, travel to and from London, within the UK, accommodation
and some meals.
If you are interested in becoming a student volunteer for HCI'2000:
go to www.hci2002.org
follow the link to "Student Volunteers"
complete and submit the form
REMINDER At a later stage all student volunteers will be required to
produce evidence:
a) of their student status, and
b) that their attendance at HCI'2000 is supported by
their supervisor or personal tutor
Simon Hall - Student Volunteer co-ordinator, HCI 20002
