No, you are not perplexed; you and I are in agreement! There is no need for
any booster in this population, but they can still be given it by those
unaware of current guidelines. In particular, I would find myself explaining
to an SHO why a 14 year old should not receive the tetanus booster that
Sister had just insisted he wrote up because she had given it...

I'm perplexed Rowley, there has never been an indication to vaccinate a
patient between 5 and 15 (assuming compliance with current childhood
vaccination programme). In fact one does not need to consider boosters at
all until at least aged 25, and even this may be excessive as Ray has
pointed out.
