Research Officer
A Research Officer is sought to work on a project on municipal medicine
in inter-war England. The project is funded by the Wellcome Trust and
conducted jointly with Oxford Brookes University. The post involves
collecting and analysing data on local health expenditure and social
conditions. The successful applicant will have a higher degree in
History or Social Sciences; experience of quantitative historical
research; familiarity with archives; and, ideally, knowledge of
inter-war social policy. The post is for eighteen months commencing 1st

Starting salary will be up to £19,681 per annum.
