CAQDAS NETWORKING PROJECT SEMINAR SERIES
The CAQDAS Networking Project, founded 8 years ago by Nigel Fielding and
Ray Lee and supported by the UK ESRC, aims to support and inform users of
qualitative data analysis software. It has continued to provide a forum for
debate, training and information. At the heart of the project's work has
been a series of free seminars which aim to provide software developers,
researchers and methodologists a chance to come together to see and discuss
new software. We are pleased to announce that the next seminar will allow Ed
Brent to show a UK audience
his new software, Qualrus.
27 November 2002 : Free seminar: Ed Brent introduces Qualrus - software
which learns, and helps you code (amongst other things!)
Qualrus helps with coding by suggesting appropriate codes based on evolving
patterns in data - Provides intelligent tools to address the common tasks of
qualitative analysis -Permits researchers to tailor the program to their
specific applications. (A full abstract will be available shortly from the
CAQDAS Web site
