Announcing a 'Developing Re-Usable Educational Resources' topic within
the Virtual Learning Space (VLS) http://itlearningspace-scot.ac.uk
Proceedings start on the 10 April with Boon Low from the University of
Strathclyde. Boon is an e-learning technologist at the Centre of
Educational Systems, University of Strathclyde. He will host a chat
session on the 10 April between 1.00 and 2.00 pm (BST) in the Schoolhill
room within the VLS cafe. We advise participants to enter the chat room
15-20 minutes earlier than the chat start time, to ensure their
computers are correctly configure to be able to load our chat software.

The agenda for discussion will include:
- What are the constituents and the barriers of reusability and
interoperability?
- What are reusable learning objects?
- The relevance of meta-data and repositories of learning/information
objects.
