Welfare Reform and Societal Change in Europe
Applications are invited for a two-year full-time research assistant to work
on a major research project funded by the EC under Framework Five from 1
October 2002. This is a chance to be involved in cross-national research
involving senior academics in seven European countries and dealing with the
key issues facing the future of social policy. The work will be supervised
by Professor Peter Taylor-Gooby at Kent.
You will have a good honours degree and preferably a postgraduate social
science qualification that includes research methods, experience of carrying
out and analysing discursive interview data and an interest in comparative
social and public policy.
