There is a table in DC-Lib AP for Type|DC-Lib encoding schemes. The open
questions say that we would consider registering those defined in the MARC
list of sources as well as any others deemed useful.
There are 32 schemes listed in the MARC genre list (i.e. those that can be
used in field 655 for genre terms). Some of the values in each of those
schemes apply to Type, while others apply only to Subject.
I am inclined to let this go through the DC-Type WG to identify other
schemes at this point. We can always register some or all of these, since
it is supposed to be fairly routine to do so (although that hasn't quite
been tested yet).
