Zimbabwe Election Support Network
Alternative Title: ZESN
Description: The Zimbabwe Election Support Network (ZESN) is a coalition of 38 non-governmental organisations based in Zimbabwe which are working together to campaign for free and democratic elections. The web site provides information on the history, purpose, membership and current activities of the group. It includes access to a growing amount of full text materials including recent elections results, newsletters, political cartoons, campaign materials and papers relating to electoral law, human rights and political corruption in Zimbabwe. They include details of political repression under the rule of Robert Mugabe and materials relating to the conduct of the 2002 presidential elections.

Make IT Policy: Liberal Democrat Online Policy Consultation
Description: This site was launched by the British Liberal Democrat party in March 2002. It is the first ever online public consultation by a UK political party and aims to get feedback on the party's information and communication technology policy. The site contains a green paper with proposals for the ways in which the Internet and ICT technology could be used for the delivery of public services. It also contains a public bulletin board, email discussion groups and the opportunity to send comments directly to the party. Links are provided to other aspects of party policy.

Description: This site provides access to a report prepared by Roger McKenzie on behalf of the Public and Commercial Services Union and published in 2001. It was written in the aftermath of the Stephen Lawrence enquiry when public institutions in the UK were accused of being'institutionally racist'. The report examines the effectivity of the measures taken by the Welsh Parliament to promote equal employment opportunities and eradicate racial discrimination. This includes details of its policy statements, employment and training practices; monitoring schems and the work of the equality policy unit.
