In our department, tens machines are not loaned due to the return rate being
very low. We therefore recommend thay the machines are hired from a
resonably priced company in Bury St Edmunds, Norfolk. Patients self refer
for tens instruction and markings, for which they come to our department.
Where further advice is required we offer support to the midwives by
reviewing the patients on the ward.
We have found this system works very well but you do need to take care that
you don't appear to support one specific company.
Regards,
Justine
