Notes on Speakers:
Nina Fishman is a labour historian teaching at the University of
Westminster. She is currently working on a biography of Arthur Horner. Her
publications include: 'The British Communist Party and the Trade Unions
1933-45', and 'British Trade Unions and Industrial Relations, 1945-79'. She
has written notes for the Dictionaries of National Biography and Labour
Biography on Sam Watson, Bill Carron, Jack Tanner, and Jim Bowman.
Regan Scott was former Transport & General Workers Union Research Director
and then National Secretary for European Affairs. He is now a trade union
consultant in Europe. He is a Director of the Russell Foundation.
