Dear Association Members and List Members.
This is to let you know that the 3rd annual conference of IALIC (International
Association for Languages & Intercultural Communication) is now set for 6 to
8 December 2002 and will be held at the Johannes Kepler University in the
beautiful city of Linz in Austria.
The conference website is now available through the main association
website at: <www.ialic.org>. More information about travel plans to Linz will
be posted shortly. In the meantime, however, you will find information about
the conference theme, the organisers, the programme and also a registration
form to download and send in.
We expect this year's conference to be as successful as all the others - not
least because of the superb facilities offered by the Johannes Kepler
University. Conference accommodation is also of a high standard, although
places are limited. Although the deadline for early registration is only in
October, we would strongly recommend submitting an application form
sooner rather than later to be sure of conference accommodation.
If you would like to submit a proposal for a paper, workshop or panel, you will
also find all the necessary information available on the conference website.
If you have any other questions, please contact the conference organisers by
emailing <[log in to unmask]>.
Do please pass on this information to any interested colleagues.
Best wishes.
Crispin
IALIC Communications Officer
