We have recently published two papers that may be of use to everyone that
records eye movements with either video-oculography or coils in humans.
In the the first paper (published as J Neurosci Meth, 2002, 114: 185-195)
we recorded saccades and fixations simultaneously using two standard
methods (the SMI Eyelink system and a coil system). The results of the
comparison can be found at
http://www.eur.nl/fgg/neuro/people/frens/JNM2002.pdf
In the second paper (J Neurophys, in press) we show that coils affect the
dynamics of saccadic eye movements. A preprint of this paper is at
http://www.eur.nl/fgg/neuro/people/frens/coils.pdf
