BRUNEL UNIVERSITY
The Department is keen to attract PhD applicants in vision research, as well
as neuropsychology, neuroimaging, language, cognition, and other areas of
Psychology.
Applications are invited for up to three Departmental studentships,
for research leading to a PhD degree, to commence in October, 2002. The
awards will normally be for a period of three years.
Applications are also invited for ESRC studentships. Psychology has mode A
recognition for both its full and part-time PhD programmes. N.B.
Departmental deadline for completed applications: 12th April for 1st May
ESRC deadline.

The Department has an expanding and forward-looking programme for psychology
research students, excellent laboratory facilities, and many long-standing
collaborative links with professional psychologists in the Greater London
area.
Applicants should have or expect to gain a 1st or very good upper 2nd
class honours degree. All studentships are awarded on a competitive basis.
Succesful applicants for Departmental studentships will be required to
undertake limited teaching duties.
