Hi there,

For the record, this news letter is specifically about the Open University of
the Netherlands Educational Modelling Language. Other educational modelling
languages have also been developed. CEN/ISSS are currently undertaking a
survey of existing emls
http://www.ni.din.de/sixcms/list.php3?page=test&rubrik_id=422

The conference Jenny mentions is called "Developing an EML authoring and
content management environment". Steve Jeyes and I are going as
representatives of the Educational Content SIG. We've submitted a conference
use case based on a hypothetical model of how the Exchange for Learning
Development bay might function. We'll be reporting back to the EC SIG of course
and I'd be happy to share our experiences with the Metadata group if you're
also interested.

Bye for now
Lorna
