... and what James has not said is that while GeoTools may be slow on the
initial download, once running in the browser it is very fast indeed. This
also matters to our users: round-tripping to the server every time you
look at the census of religion data (see above) in a different way will
also soon bore people. Further, asking a heavily loaded server to generate
lots of graphical content on the fly will create BIG problems if the system
is as popular as we hope.
