The 16th Nordic Conference in Sociology of Religion
Uppsala/Sigtuna 22-25 August 2002


The 16th Nordic Conference in Sociology of Religion will be held in Uppsala
/Sigtuna/ Sweden, in August 2002. It will be arranged by The Faculty of
Theology at Uppsala University, Uppsala Institute for Diaconal and Social
Studies, the Sigtuna Foundation and Church of Sweden, Department of
Research and Culture

Professor in the Sociology of Religion DaniËle Hervieu-LÈger, Šcole des
Hautes Študes en Sciences Sociales, Paris, France
Minister Lars Engqvist, Minister of Health and social affairs, Stockholm,
Sweden

We welcome papers on all topics in the area of the Sociology of Religion
and especially within

Accommodation
Cost for full board and lodging for the whole conference at The Foundation
of Sigtuna will be 4.200 SEK in single room, 3.600 SEK in double room. The
price includes breakfast, coffee, lunch, coffee and dinner. People
commuting from Uppsala, Stockholm etc. can order meals at a price of 720
SEK. This price includes coffee, lunch and coffee every day and the banquet
on Saturday evening. (Please notice, that the price includes precisely
these meals.) Cheaper lodging is not provided, but can be found in Uppsala,
Stockholm and Upplands V”sby
