I've tried practising the movement, and it seems to me to be repressed agony
- forcing back vocal anguish perhaps. As for Christ, He is, after all,the
only 'person' in whom Helen has been able to confide all along. I'm still
baffled by 'if you're going to take it like that'. It seems to imply that
Helen's reaction appears disapproving or condemnatory, but how?
