Dear Elisabeth,
I have no idea either. Again, my feeling is that Administration have
probably decided to let the matter rest and not 'ask for more'. They
may also forget the whole think and the matter will lapse and be
forgotten. So I would rather not ask them.....
Yours,
John

Dear All,
I've several items of conference and book news that may be of
interest...
* The Department of Marketing in the University of Economics and
Business Administration in Vienna, in partnership with QSR, is
running
a 1st International Workshop Qualitative Research in Marketing &
Management, April 8-14th. Details on their website at
http://www.wu-wien.ac.at/handel/qual_rcat.html The program
includes a
wide range of speakers and papers on qualitative research and
marketing as well as workshops from me (on strategies with the
new N6
and with NVivo) and from Pat Bazeley on mixed methods.
* The Institute of Education at University of London, having run a
greeeaat conference last month on Strategies with QSR software
(summary coming in the next QSR newsletter out soon) has already
confirmed the fourth conference in this series for 2003 - probably
May. Put it in your diary with their website
http://ioewebserver.ioe.ac.uk/ioe/cms/get.asp?cid=3872 for details of
this last one, and soon of the next. (If you don't know that N6 was
launched there, check it out on our website
http://www.qsrinternational.com/products/n6.html or in the next
newsletter.
(To get QSR's newsletter - and any updates we need to give you about
our software - do please either register your software or mail

note: if you purchased our software other than thru our website, it is
our only way of talking directly to you about great or important
things. Please pass this message on to anyone you know who should know
this!)
* Another London launch was for Graham Gibbs' new text-book on
Qualitative Data Analysis, Explorations with NVivo (Open University

* We'll be at AERA in April, with new demo disks including the new
NUD*IST, N6. At AERA and the QHR conference at Banff in April, Sage
will co-launch the new book I have written with Jan Morse, "Readme
