medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Unfortunatly the Relics of St Andrew shared the fate of the vast majority of Scottish Relics. That is the were destroyed utterly along with all but one cathereral (Glasgow). I say this in case any list member was planning on visiting the shrine in the hope of seeing the Relics. However the town itself is pretty and the Pictish sarcophogas of 'st andrew' which in all actuality was built for a secular figure in the dark ages is quite unique and is well worth a visit.
