I seem to recall that the original posting that started the language debate related to sport, this message was recently posted in Disforum
and might (?) be useful to the person who was interested in this area.
Best wishes,

Subject: Disability Awareness Training for Sports & Recreation Managers
The Institute of Sports and Recreation Management (ISRM)
are the validating body for a number of professional
qualifications in the sport centre/leisure management field.
They produce a monthly magazine.
I have not done a disability awareness course with them but
did a two day course with Sport England (then the Sports
Council) on Sports Equity Management a few years ago and
this was really excellent. It covered the DDA in depth and
looked at a lot of other issues which were as equally
applicable outside of sports and recreation.
