Dear Sarah Cross
It's cold here and I'm pretty cranky, too. Believe me that I shouted
a few expletives the moment I realized I'd sent a personal message to
the entire list, and was deeply grateful for the polite silence on
the subject. Surely everyone has made such a gaffe, and been
forgiven.
So what would you like to say about the death of Bourdieu? Why don't
you make a start in telling us whom we are talking to and what is
occupying you at the moment?
I myself am enveloped in culture contact vis a vis change in
prehistory (that old nag) as well as interpretation of Iron Age
female burials with horses, in case anyone is interested. I would
also be prepared to discuss Morris's Archaeology as Cultural History
with those who maybe got it better than i did.
Cheers
Constanze
