As a longtime lurker/sometimes contributor on this list, I've noticed that
it goes through lulls, and then gets busy when someone brings up an issue
that others are interested in/bothered by. For my 2 cents, my feeling is
that Theory is in a sort of post-theoretical stage where many
post-processualists are experimenting with or working through the
applications of various concepts/ideas through writing, research, and
excavation.
