I agree, Robbie, I'm thinking of going down the PDA
line for text and downloads from medscape. I use a
Toshiba portable and an appleibook (with virtual pc).
Medically I couldn't live without them , with my
portable printer and digital camera: forensic
reporting is easy, notes and advice sheets are easy.
I NEVER go out without them anymore, and I never do
calls without a pulse Ox, my trusty hand held ECG
monitor and my automatic BP cuff. It's just second
nature to put them on now and helps diagnostically on
40% of occassions.
Of course, I still like my steth and digital
thermometer.
Long live the electronic age.
