"I also have
to look after folk who have tried to assualt me the
day before.
It's a lovely life."
I agree, we all have to treat everyday people we don't like and who probably
dislike us.
The worst I had to deal with (somewhere else, a long time ago) was a patient
who suddenly became aggressive, started wandering around in the Department terrorizing
patients and staff and eventually, while security was after him, turned around
and runned towards me screaming and pointing at me a pair of scissors that he/she
was holding. Eventually he was restrained; he then calmed down and I could carry
on with my job (which included looking after him). He was not psychotic.
