Guest composer Trevor Wishart presents 'Red Bird'.
The premiere of 'Version' by Richard Whitelaw, performed by DJ Sherpa
(turntables), with Hans Tutschku (piano) and James Bentley (laptop).
Works from the 'Pressure rien' series by French pioneer Luc Ferrari and
works from Sonic Arts Network's Sonic Postcards.
5 concerts - including works by Canadians.

File sound art, 13th - 16th March 2002
City Space, Corporation Street
File sound art presents an exhibition of works, on the File CD series, by
27 international artists. All works use sound as their medium and range
from spoken word, field recordings, computer generated sound, performance
documentation, disco to karaoke. Many of the artists have made work
relating to Birmingham including Swedish artist Karin Kihlberg, who
recorded comments, propositions and bon mots from a night on Broad Street.
At least one Canadian included. ;-)
