ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
This one-day conference will approach the development of eContent
from the perspective of teachers, publishers and commercial
courseware providers. The speakers, drawn from tertiary education
and commerce, have been chosen for their expertise and
experience in using and developing eContent. A mixture of
plenaries, discussions, hands-on workshops, poster presentations
and an exhibition will ensure something for everyone. Please note:
our VLE conference in April 2001 was oversubscribed; book early
to avoid disappointment.

CALL FOR POSTERS
Poster presentations on the theme of eContent are invited. The
poster should present a condensed review or a work-in-progress
report on a significant piece of eContent development.

To apply for a poster session submit an abstract by 5 February
2002 to [log in to unmask]

The abstract should consist of a title up to 80 characters, author’s
name(s), institutional affiliation(s) and email address of the main
contact, and a description of the planned poster which readily
informs the reader about the problem being addressed, the
outcomes of the work and relevant URLs or literature references.
Max 350 words.

If your poster is accepted you must register by 5 MARCH. Failure
to register will result in your space being forfeited and your
abstract deleted from the programme.

Poster boards and a table will be available on the day. The printed
poster should be identifiable from some distance and legible from 2
metres. It must contain:

Title: black text 40mm high in an easily-readable font.
Author’s names and affiliations: black text 25mm high in an easily-
readable font.

The main body of the poster should be designed with font sizes
and diagrams which can be read and understood quickly by the
