Hi all,
This is a teaser for you. A patient of mine started Tae Kwon Do and must
have over stretched when doing a side kick. He stated that now when he pulls
his knee to his chest, he feels an ache in the groin region. When he returns
to standing, the pain is gone. Here is the catch... when he lowers his legs
and extends his knee, he feels a painful crack in the groin. I hypothesis
that this may be iliopsoas tightness, but does anybody have any other ideas
on what can cause this crack in the groin?? Could it be the actual hip joint
itself??
